ALBERTA WHITETAIL
Trophy Whitetail Deer - This is one of the best areas in North America to find big bucks with mass to their horns. You will be hunting farmland boarding large tracts of forest. This gives the bucks the chance to live to five and six years old, producing bucks in the 170 class. The hunt occurs during the rut in November when the big boys make mistakes.
Most of the hunting is done from stands, but we also still hunt, spot and stalk, and push some bush. At this time it can be cold, so be prepared. Temperatures can get as low as -25 degrees, but most times it is 15-20 degrees.
Hunters are picked up in Edmonton or Grande Prairie and driven to the hunting area. Accommodations are in motels near the hunting area. One of the best bucks taken so far was a net 164 gross 175 Boone & Crockett.
The outfitter could take 20 hunters a year, but will only take 14 annually. The average shot is 75 yards. If you want a 170 class buck you should plan on staying extra days. It takes on the average 12 days of hunting to see a buck over 170 Boone & Crockett points. We are now booking for 1998.

Mexican Whitetail Deer
Our best Whitetail hunt!

Bill and his 164 B&C Whitetail.
I feel this is your best chance to harvest a truly big Whitetail!
Whitetail deer are one of the most hunted animals in the world due to the sheer numbers and places they exist. We have the rights to a private 11,000 acre ranch managed exclusively for hunting whitetail.
We hunt this ranch in December and January. Due to the limited number of hunters we book, we are able to harvest bucks in the 130-180 class. Our average score over the last six years is 148. It is not uncommon to see high, wide spreads with drop tines.
Come prepared to experience first class trophy hunting in a third world country.... Old Mexico. Five days hunting includes meals.
We will meet you in Laredo, Texas and escort you on a hunt where we feel we'll harvest whitetails scoring 140 B&C and up!
We feel that the person who holds out and passes on smaller bucks will get bucks scoring 150 and up! A deer wounded is considered a deer harvested. Every effort to find the animal will be made, even to the point of using tracking dogs.
If a deer is not recovered, it is up to the landowner to decide whether to continue the hunt or not. It is important that you know how to tell a good trophy in advance of the hunt.
A good buck has horns out past his ears with long tines and heavy mass. We will do everything we can to coach you. There are two styles of hunting, one is riding in a vehicle which is called high racking. There is a stand in the vehicle which allows you to look out over the brush. This is a good way for you to help field judge a trophy. There are five hunters per hunt. We rotate between high racking and hunting from tower stands (sondara's), placed along the roadway. Corn will be fed to draw deer out of the brush.
Typical day starts before daylight using a stand or high rack. Around 10:00 or 10:30 you go back to the bunkhouse for brunch. You will start hunting again at approximately 3:00 p.m. until dark. If you want to hunt all day, that is possible, but deer don't move well mid-day.
Most hunters have filled out in three days. Hunters who pass on smaller bucks, shoot higher scoring bucks. Other animals are available only after you harvest your Whitetail, such as coyote, which are not importable to the U.S. The price for javelina is $25 for the tag and a $250 trophy fee for 2 javelina. On warmer days you will see lots of javelina, cool days you don't see any.
Bow hunters are welcome, but stands are not suitable for the bow hunter. Bow hunts are spot and stalk. These deer aren't as wary of humans as northern Whitetail. They seldom see humans.
In 2000 Bill harvested a Whitetail that placed third non-typical in Mexico. It scored 164 6/8". He missed a buck estimated at typical over 170 B & C points. The big advantage of this hunt is you will see 4-8 different bucks each morning and evening hunt. Several deer taken off this property and adjoining property scored in the 180's.
It can frost at night and make better hunting, but it can get quite warm. Canadian Whitetail hunts endure temperatures from 10 to-20. This hunt may be 30 in the morning, but by mid-day it is in the 50's.
Meals are included. In my opinion this is the best Whitetail hunt in North America. Accommodations are nothing more than a cowboy style ranch house. You will need a sleeping bag and a pillow.
It is recommended that we receive the information for licenses 65 days in advance of the hunt. Absolute minimum of 45 days in advance of the hunt.
You need to send 6 passport size photos and a letter from your local law enforcement office that you are a law abiding citizen with no criminal record. This letter also must include the make, model and serial number of the rifle you are bringing to the hunt. You must be absolutely certain that this information is correct.
You need to send an original birth certificate. If you do not have one, you can obtain one from the state office where you reside. This will be returned to you upon checking your trophy at the Mexico Fish & Game. There will be a $10 fee for packing & dipping of your trophy.
You also need to send a copy of your driver's license and/or a copy of your U.S. Passport. You don't need to send the passport, only a copy. There will be an approximate cost of $400 for license and gun permits.
You will be escorted by the Mexican landowner across the border. He helps to take care of problems if they arise.
Laredo, TX has an international airport, but only commuter planes fly into it. It might be wise to fly into San Antonio, TX and rent a car and drive to Laredo. We recommend staying at La Posada Hotel/Suites. Telephone: 956-722-1701 or Fax: 956-722-4758 E-mail: nmreyna@icsi.net.
It is advised that you are in Laredo by 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. the day before your hunt commences. It can take 1-2 hours to get across the border.
Hunt Price: $4,000 and up! Licenses not included: $400

Whitetail/
Black Bear
Nestled in the North Interlake Region of
Manitoba
is some of the best Whitetail and Black Bear hunting available today. We had
the opportunity to hunt and film for our TV show Hunts To Remember in November
of 2005. This is truly some of
Canada
’s best when it comes to Deer and Bear. This part of
Manitoba
is where agricultural land meets the Canadian bush. You can expect to see a
fair amount of deer coming to the fields on this hunt. You can also enjoy
hunting the deep Canadian bush on this hunt. Copies of our Whitetail hunt can be
ordered from Ten 44 Productions ( 309-928-2109 ).
154 in. 12 pt. and 135 in. 10 pt. 2005 Muzzleloader Season.
This outfitter offers a wide variety of hunts for
Whitetail from bow, to muzzleloader, to rifle hunts. Your hunt will be from
ground blinds or treestands. Seasons run from August to the end of November
depending upon your weapon of choice. Meals, Lodging, and Game Processing are
included on all hunts.
We recommend contacting the outfitter about clothing needed. Depending on
which season you hunt, it is very possible to see all types of weather, be it

Black Bear
Manitoba
also has some of the finest in Black Bear hunting available today. With an
already high population of Bears, this province boasts 20,000 new bears are born
every year. At the same time they only harvest around 6500 Bears province wide
every year. This alone should tell you this is the Bear hunt of your dreams.
Even with that said it gets better.
Manitoba
is home to some of the largest Bears on this continent. It is reasonable to
think if you are willing to hunt hard you can expect to harvest a bear over 300
lbs. Another great thing is the fact there are all color phases of Black Bear
available to hunt here. Your hunt is over bait in the spring with fall hunts
being over bait and some spot and stalk around crop fields.

LIMITED ACCESS WYOMING WHITETAIL

The trophy Whitetail are hunted on approximately 55,000 acres of private leases in Crook County, Wyoming. We feel we have put together a large lease of some of the very best whitetail country in the county. We have had these leases for 9 years. You hunt river bottoms and narrow necks. This is a great bow hunt. Stay in a hotel, lodging and meals are included in the cost. This is a draw, but at this point everyone has drawn a license. Fly to Gillette, Wyoming where the outfitter will pick you up.
Bow season runs Sept. 1-30. Our bow hunts are hunted from portable stands, using screw in steps. We scout all summer long to locate stand location for the opening of the season. As the season unfolds, we continue to scout everyday to change stand locations as needed. We feel we give the bow hunter an excellent chance at P&Y class bucks. During the 2000 bow season, 24 hunters took 13 bucks, with 8 other misses. The largest bucks taken were 151 P&Y and 142 P&Y.
Our rifle season takes place Nov. 1-30. The hunts are guided, either 2x1 or 1x1. We use a few different methods, including tree stands, closed-in-box stands, rattling and spot and stalk. Over the past years, our hunters have averaged 80-100% success. During the past three seasons, 1998, 1999, and 2000, half the bucks taken have gone 140 BC gross or better. Twenty of these bucks were 150 BC or better, including two 160 BC bucks, and two mid-170 BC bucks.
The license draw success in the Whitetail area are usually 90-100% successful on the Non-Resident Special Draw. The fee for license is $320.00.

MULE DEER AND/OR ANTELOPE
LIMITED ACCESS HUNT
Our best and a great chance for you to take a very big Mule deer!
Everyone wants a trophy, and the bigger the better. We hunt our Mule Deer in the Cheyenne and Powder River areas in Wyoming. Outfitter leases over 200,000 acres of private property. These areas hold excellent numbers of trophy class animals.
Rifle season runs Oct. 1-30. The majority of these areas are open Oct. 1-15. Hunts run 5 days. These are fully guided hunts, either 2x1 or 1x1. Because the areas we hunt are private, we use 4x4s to get around. This allows us to adjust our hunting to the capability of each individual hunter. We hunt the Mule deer, spot and stalk. Over the years our success rate has been 75-85%. During the 1998 and 1999 seasons, our hunters have averaged taking 10 bucks a season, grossing over 180 BC. The 1998 season, 3 bucks taken scored 190, 196 and 204 BC Gross. In 1999, 3 bucks were taken, measuring 191, 197 and 203 BC Gross. We take a few bucks a year, that are 28"-30".
As for the 2000 AND 2001 season, the dry conditions throughout the West made for some tougher hunting. Although our hunters did well, our success rate was 72% in 2000 and 85% 2001. The hunters harvested 8 bucks, grossing over 180 BC in 2000 and 4 in 2001. The largest scoring 191 BC. During this season we took three 30" plus bucks. The average buck taken, as in years past, was 23"-27". We rate this hunt as one better Mule Deer hunts!
The license draw success for the Non-Resident Special Draw in the Mule Deer areas has been 100% successful the last 3 years. The fee for license is $320.00. You must apply for a license by March 15. You stay in a hotel, all meals and lodging are included in the hunt. A down side to this hunt is you have about a hours drive each way morning and night.
The combination Mule Deer/Whitetail takes place Whitetail in Wyoming, Mule Deer in Montana. The license in Montana is guaranteed tag. The license for Whitetail in Wyoming is close to 100% draw. This is a great hunt with both Mule deer and the Whitetails being in rut.

ARCHERY MULE DEER/WHITETAIL AND ANTELOPE

Bill and his P&Y Buck! This is a great bow hunt but the outfitter
only takes four hunters a year you need to book early!!!!!
Here's an outfitter in the business that specializes in the bow hunter. If you are looking for a great trophy and a good chance of qualifying for the Pope & Young record book, then go with us next year.
In the last two years, 7 Mule Deer hunters took 6 Mule Deer, 5 of these qualified for Pope & Young. Mule Deer is hunted spot & stalk. During the 2000 bow season, 24 hunters took 13 bucks, with 8 other misses. The largest bucks taken were 151 P&Y and 142 P&Y. This is one of the most exciting hunts I have ever done.
The outfitter is originally from Pennsylvania and understands tree stand hunting. Whitetail hunts are conducted from portable stands, using screw in steps. The outfitter scouts all summer long to locate stand location for the opening of the season. He has taken several Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young Whitetail. I saw lots of Whitetail, and some were definitely close to, and above Pope & Young. Whitetail success runs about 50%. Biggest Whitetail scored 176. I, personally, plan on hunting with this outfitter again, on what could become the Whitetail capital of the world.
The outfitter will do a spot and stalk Mule Deer hunt but he only takes two hunters a year and you must book one or two years ahead. This how I hunted and you can see I took a great Mule Deer!
The license draw success, in the Whitetail area are usually 90-100% successful on the Non-Resident Special Draw. The fee for license is $320.00. All hunts include lodging and meals.
