Because I love to hunt, I'm always looking for the best hunts all over the world. This year I had two hunters from Spain book Mountain goat hunts. They invited me to come and hunt in Spain. We are ready to offer you the best of Spain in the form of a mini safari. You can book a 5 day hunt or longer. You will hunt one to six different species. The lodging and food is all five star. You will be hunting big game in the state of Catalina. The Ibex, Mouflon, Red Stag, and Fallow deer will be at about 3,000 to 6,000 feet. The Chamois will be 9,000 to 12,000 feet. Success runs very close to 100%.
Part of hunting in Spain is to enjoy first class European culture. The finest of seafood, steaks, coffee, and fine wine. Do not plan on losing weight on this hunt! Most all of the hunting is spot and stalk. If you're a good shot, SCI medal trophies are the norm not the exception.
I, personally, hunted Beceite Ibex, Pyrenees Chamois, and Fallow Deer. All my trophies will score very well! I love hunting mountain animals and there is lots of game. The hunter who waits will harvest bigger trophies, there is a added trophy fee for animals that score gold medal CIC, the European system of measuring trophies. Most bronze medal CIC will score high silver or gold SCI.

I had no problem getting my gun into Spain. Airfare from most midwest cities is reasonable. There are several options letting you extend your Spanish mini safari. ( lowest Price not guaranteed on Monterie and Red Partridge. ) Red Partridge; expect to shoot 20 wild birds a day and work over some of the best pointers. Stay and hunt a Monteria where you hunt big game using dogs, a weekend where you can sometimes harvest 2 to 4 good big game trophies. Monteria Big Game Hunt Using Dogs.
If you love hunting as I do then you should experience this European tradition. This a weekend full of fun and excitement. Your weekend begins with fine wine and exquisite cuisine. Saturday morning you will have a big breakfast. Then there will be a drawing to select your personal hunt location. You are then taken to your station and the hounds are released. This is when it can get very exciting. You listen to the chase as it draws closer. You hear someone else shoot at another station. All at once right in front of you out bursts a trophy Red Stag or a Wild Boar. Some hunters do not harvest, but most will harvest 2 to 4 trophies. 4 days, 2 days hunting. If you like hunting over fine pointers then you will love this fast paced wing shooting. Red Partridge are wild birds that fly very fast and also run. The Spanish Pointers are some of the best. You will find my prices very competitive. If you want to hunt the Ibex of the world, then this hunt is a must. You will be hunting in the Alps at between 12,000 and 14,000 feet. You will see lots of Ibex and you can expect to harvest within 3 days. The license is on a draw but if you don't draw the 1st year you will the 2nd. License dead ine is November. Hunt takes place in August and September. English speaking guides will meet you in Geneva.
