Hunting Area. Situated
250 km south of Bulawayo in the scenic free
range Bubiana Conservancy sanctuary to the
nearly extinct Rhino and home to four of the big five
excluding Lion. Hunting takes place
on over 100,000 acres of African bush and spectacular granite hills known for
its abundant Plains Game and renowned for its particularly large Leopard.
I, personally hunted with Norman in 1997, 98, 99,
2000, 02 and 2004.
I harvested a huge 200 pound male Leopard, a 54” Kudu and a 40” Eland
in 1997. In 1998 I assisted with the
first conservancy Elephant hunt.
We rate the Crooks as
one of our best African Safaris. We
rated the accommodations as one of the best in Zimbabwe and we both rate the
cuisine as some of the best in the world.
Keep in mind some Elephant hunts can be very physically demanding.
Our hunt here will require some walking but over easy terrain.

Some Safari operators charge for airport transfers to hunting camp, Norman
Crooks does not. This is at least a
$500 savings to each client! You

Accommodation. Clients
are accommodated in tents and chalets with en suite amenities.
Women and children are welcome on Plains Game and Leopard hunts.
It is advised that on Buffalo, Lion, and Elephant hunts in the
valley the women and children stay at another lodge and not join the hunt
unless they are hunting and in top physical shape.
The reason for this is that you will leave camp early, before day
light and return after dark and more walking is involved.

Daily Rate includes: Accommodation laundry, meals, local beer,
wine, spirits and soft drinks. Transport while hunting and to and from
hunting areas. Services of Professional Hunter, tracker and skinner.
Daily Rate excludes: 2% Government levy. US$100
per person Medical Air Rescue.
Cover Trophy fees for animals killed or wounded and lost.
Dip and pack of trophies 1 - 4 trophies $450,
5—10 trophies $550, over 10 $650 and $100 per cites tag. Charter flights to and from the hunting areas if required.
Any hotel accommodation required before or after the hunt. Overseas
flights to and from point of origin.

Hosts the TV show Hunts
To Remember if we
host you we will film your hunt and edit it for use on TV. You must
cover Bills concession fees.
Season.
Hunting takes place throughout the year but the colder months being
April - September are preferable.
Firearms.
Rifles in caliber's 30.06 300 win Mag, 7x57 and 308 are suitable for
Plains Game and Leopard. The
.375 and 93x62 are ideal for larger game e.g. Eland and Giraffe.
Precautions.
It is advisable to consult your doctor for a course of anti-malaria
prophylactics. Commence at least
two weeks before your departure for Zimbabwe.
Clothing.
Khaki clothing for hunting. Please
be advised that military camouflage is illegal in Zimbabwe.
Bring warm jackets during winter months!
Liability.
Care and precautions for the safety of our clients are of prime
importance to us but we do not accept responsibility for lose, accident or
illness or any expenses incurred for the same.
Terms of Payment.
All prices quoted in US dollars.
Cash, Traveler’s Checks, Cashier’s Check accepted as payment.
A deposit of 50% is required on confirmation of the hunt.
Deposits are only refundable if the hunt can be filled by someone

Government tax of 2% on day rate and 2% on trophy fees not included!
Other Attractions:
Photographic Safaris, Rhino sightings, fishing, walking trails,
sightseeing trips to Victoria Falls, Kariba, Hwange, etc., can be arranged
before or after the hunt.
Regardless when paying balance of daily rate
and animal trophy fees. The
balance of your hunt MUST BE PAID FOR BY CASH OR TRAVELER’S CHECKS.
PERSONAL AND CERTIFIED CHECKS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
This is due to difficulty in cashing checks overseas!
